One number, any hour

Dial 1-855-255-4255 to reach the PEI Gambling Support Line. Calls are toll-free, and what you share stays confidential. Someone picks up 24 hours a day, on all seven days, and no call is cut short by a time limit. You can phone about your own gambling, or because another person's gambling is affecting you.

Behind the line is the Gambling and Gaming Support Unit of the PEI Department of Health and Wellness. You do not have to be sure there is a problem before you call.

Set the limit at home

Before you head to Kensington Road, settle two numbers at home: how many hours you will stay and how many dollars you will spend. Think of that money as what the evening costs, not something that comes back, and head home once it is spent. Slots shut at 1 a.m. from Sunday through Wednesday, and at 2 a.m. from Thursday through Saturday. Leave at closing, if not earlier. The whole gaming floor is 19+, so no one under 19 may play.

Taking a break from the floor

Both Red Shores gaming floors, Charlottetown and Summerside, share one self-exclusion program called Break in Play. The length is yours to pick: 30, 60 or 90 days, or one of 6, 12, 24 and 36 months.
You can enrol on site or through the PlayWise Advisors at 902-620-4267. Once a break is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, so pick a length you mean.
A PlayWise information centre operates at both Red Shores sites, reachable at the same number, 902-620-4267.

About the Kensington Road desk

The Kensington Road desk puts its name to the guide collectively, and no individual author is credited on any page. All pictures on the site are generated images. Track, dining room, lounge and entrance scenes were modelled on real photographs of Red Shores Racetrack & Casino. Anyone shown in them is invented. The wide image of red sandstone cliffs at the top of the home page was produced the same way.

The Kensington Road desk checked these facts on October 6, 2026, using the venue's pages and Prince Edward Island sources. Every time shown is Atlantic time. Each distance runs straight from the OpenStreetMap point of Charlottetown to town points on OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors). Where it crosses the Northumberland Strait, that line is not a road, and the desk makes no estimate of driving times.

You will find no form to fill in, no comment box and no account anywhere on Charlottetown Casino by the Oval. Paid links show up only on the guide's front page, and each one is tagged Ad. Every one of them sends you to a single partner, which runs a private online casino. For those visits, the Kensington Road desk receives a commission from that casino.
